Visceral Therapy

What is Visceral Therapy

Visceral therapy aims to restore mobility to the abdomen and rib cage organs by working on local adhesions and fascias. The treatment also acts on the central and autonomic nervous systems. In addition, the technique can improve circulation and stimulate the organ itself and the surrounding structure (tissue, nerve and vascular).

Visceral therapy is a therapeutic tool to manage:

  • Metabolic disorders : digestive disorders, intestine disorders, acidosis, stress and anxiety, chronic fatigue, renal or gallstone, detoxification,
  • Musculoskeletal disorder : chronic or bilateral tendinopathy, chronic low back pain or neck pain, shoulder pain, diaphragm overcontraction
  • Helping to treat cutaneous, bronchial and vaginal symptoms which are expressed when the secondary emunctories must be used to support liver and kidney’s function : eczema, acne, herpes, mycosis, styes, sinutisis, asthma,..

Combining with a structured nutritional program, visceral therapy is a very efficient holistic approach.
